Objectives

The Objectives of the WCC are :
|
To continue psychological support services after having tackled
the immediate crisis problem, especially for those who suffer from emotional and psychological abuse. |
To do and encourage research regarding social problems relating
to women and children. |
To promote awareness among the general public on matters
concerning the abuse of women and children in the society. |
To promote societal and legal changes for the protection and the
well being of our women and children in our society. |
To help, advice and when nessesary, provide temporary shelter for
women and children in a crisis. |
To achieve these objectives, the WCC has a General Committee to
administer and manage its activities. The centre is run by staff and volunteers who attend to telephone enquiries and other administrative task. |
The WCC is open during office hours -
9:00 am to 6:00 pm (Mon-Sat) |
Counsellors are available by appointment

Legal advisors are only available by
appointment after 5:30 pm. |
